Talk by Marion Balla organized by MAPA(Monday 23rd February@ LeMeridien, St Julians)

 

The Malta Adlerian Psychology Association (MAPA) will be organizing two talks on the 23rd of February by an international speaker, Marion Balla who is an Adlerian psychologist. She has over 35 of experience in counseling and counsulting and delivers her talks in a very dynamic and creative manner.

First talk: Family living:fun or friction - starting at 9.30am till 11.30pm.

Second talk: Leading your life with balance and Humour - starting at 5.30pm till 7.30pm

This date coincides with the 10th anniversary of the conferment of the degree Honoris Causa by the University of Malta in Psychology to Chiara Lubich, the late founder of the movement, for the special contribution and inspiration she had given to this field through her work and writings. Prof Borg himself had been present and given the  speech honouring her works at the time in 1999.

On the 26th February, the first event will present the life of Chiara Lubich with the launch of her book "Essential Writings" containing a collection of her writings and including the speech she had given in Malta on the conferment of her psychology degree. This will start at 6.00pm and finish at 7.30pm with a reception which will be held in the Hotel Phoenicia Ballroom. Then at 8.00 pm the second event will start and will be dedicated specifically to the field of psychology. Dr. Simonetta Magari from the Psychology and Communion Centre of the Focolare Movement will address the meeting, among others including Prof Borg.
